Arsianews, Amman – Through the MoU agreement, IJBC or partners from Indonesia can establish a stronger partnership to participate in the construction of a number of projects in the fields of infrastructure, buildings and other construction projects that have been owned by JCCA (Jordanian Construction Contractors Association) as part of the reconstruction of Iraq.
The signing was carried out by the President of IJBC, Mayra Andrea and President of JCCA, Ahmad Al Yaqoub and witnessed directly by the Indonesian Ambassador Amman, Andy Rachmianto and the Indonesian Embassy in Amman.
The Indonesian Ambassador Amman welcomed the MoU between IJBC and JCCA and said that this collaboration was a golden opportunity for Indonesia, especially BUMNs and business people engaged in construction to take part in the tender of $ 4.6 billion infrastructure development projects owned by JCCA from the Jordanian Government.
“After this agreement, the two parties are expected to immediately formulate an” action plan “(plan of action) as a follow-up, including mutual visits and meetings with business entities who are interested in participating in the tender,” said Ambassador Andy.
The President of JCCA, Ahmad Al Yaqoub, stated that the closeness of the relationship between Indonesia and Jordan was a key consideration for JCCA in establishing cooperation and agreements with IJBC.
In the near future it will include an Indonesian delegation visiting Iraq to see first hand plans for reconstruction projects, especially in Baghdad and Basra.
While Mayra Andrea expressed her gratitude for the facilitation, support and cooperation given by the Indonesian Embassy in Amman so that IJBC could further collaborate with JCCA.
“As the President of IJBC, he will immediately prepare the necessary action plans, including bringing together JCCA with potential partners in Indonesia who are interested in taking part in the reconstruction projects in Iraq,” Mayra finished.
