President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) expressed his admiration for the beauty of the Inaya Bay Hotel and hopes that the hotel can provide full support for tourism in Labuan Bajo.
“And by saying bismillahirrahmanirrahim, the Inaya Bay Hotel and the Labuan Bajo Marina Area this afternoon I declare it was opened,” said the President while inaugurating the Inaya Bay Hotel and the Labuan Bajo Marina Area, East Nusa Tenggara Province, Monday (1/20).
Previously, Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Minister of Parekraf) Wishnutama, reported that to support Labuan Bajo as a super premium tourist destination, it is necessary to increase high infrastructure connectivity to encourage national and international tourist traffic to NTT.
“In supporting Labuan Bajo to become a super premium tourist destination, ASDP through PT Indonesia Ferry Property joint venture with PT Pembangunan Perumahan built the infrastructure of the Labuan Bajo Marina Area which includes commercial areas, crossing piers, hotels, multifunction halls, and marinas,” said the Minister of Parekraf.
For information, the Parekraf Minister said that the Inaya Bay Komodo Hotel, has 147 rooms in the same class as a 4-star hotel and multifunction hall with a capacity of 1,000 people. “This is the first multifunction hall in Labuan Bajo that can accommodate a large enough crowd and can be used as a venue for various MICE activities,” concluded the Minister of Parekraf ending his remarks.
