The total number of livestock slaughtered in Makkah during the period 1 to 7 of Ramadan this year, stands at 3,311 cattle. The cuts are to meet the individual needs of the community, restaurants and butchers.

The City Government also stressed to intensify health protocols, by redeploying all preventive measures.
Among other things, by intensifying the sterilization and disinfection of all slaughterhouse facilities, taking the temperature of all visitors and slaughterhouse workers, and providing sterilizers at the entrance.
